Serving Memphis, TN
The Maserati Levante is a stunning option for luxury SUV shoppers to consider. This high-performance, midsize SUV was first introduced to eager drivers in 2017. In 2021 and 2022, the Levante remains a first-generation model with exceptional appeal. Its appeal has been sustained thanks to Maserati’s efforts to make thoughtful improvements to the SUV over the last several years. As you prepare to make a luxury SUV purchase, a closer look at the updates that have been made between the 2021 and 2022 model years is in order.
Performance
The Levante’s trim levels have been renamed for the 2022 model year. From the base trim option and up, you will find the GT, the Modena, the Modena S, and the Trofeo. While the levels have changed, the performance capabilities have not. The base trim continues to pull 345 horsepower from a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine. Its performance is boosted by an advanced suspension system and a limited-slip differential. The Modena receives 424 horsepower from its upgraded V6 engine, and it comes with an advanced braking system. The Modena S pairs its turbo 3.8-liter, V8, 550-horsepower engine with paddle shifters. The top Trofeo trim level draws 590 horsepower from a 3.8-liter V8 engine.
Appearance
The Levante’s stunning exterior design is unchanged for the 2022 model year. It has long, arching lines through its profile and tapered definition through its hood. The front end is slightly concave, and it shows off a tall, chrome grille. This is paired with segmented LED light bars that cap the angled, narrow headlights. The headlights sit over round foglamps. On the sides, the Levante has a trio of air vents near the front fender and decadent accentuation through the door panels.
Features
When you compare the features in the 2021 Maserati Levante to those in the 2022 version, you will find that some of the standard features and options have been juggled slightly. However, the Levante continues to offer desired features like a hands-free and powered liftgate, leather material with heated seats, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, front and rear parking sensors, a navigation system, an 8.4-inch touch display screen, blind-spot monitoring, power-adjusting foot pedals, soft-close doors, adaptive cruise control and a variety of other premium features.
